Life & Hobbies

When he's not with his patients, he enjoys traveling to his fiancé's homeland of Colombia, spending time with his family and adorable nieces in Kansas, or playing golf.

Dr. Michael A. Simon is committed to treating the unique, individual needs of each patient. You can depend on him to listen carefully to your questions and concerns and thoroughly explain your treatment options. Dr. Simon is proud to provide his community with the resources of a leading-edge Prosthodontic and General Dentistry practice that offers a full range of prosthetic and aesthetic dental services, including the surgical and restorative phases of placing dental implants.

Professional Education

Dr. Simon earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1989. He completed the post-graduate program in prosthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1991.

Teaching Experience

Dr. Simon served as an assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia from 1989 to 1991. He was the co-chair of the Removable Prosthodontic Section of the Broward Community College dental research clinic and continues to teach the latest prosthodontic techniques to dentists in South Florida.

Membership in Professional Organizations

Dr. Simon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the South Broward Dental Society, and the North Dade Dental Society. He is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Florida Prosthodontic Association, and the Academy of Osseointegration. He has served as president of the South Broward Dental Society.

Personal Life

Dr. Simon and his wife, Pam have two sons, Joshua (born in 1995) and Robert (born in 1998). In his free time, Dr. Simon loves fishing and he is a big fan of the band Grateful Dead.
